I finally had the chance to get a vegan sausage bap today, which comes with two not meats more from a kartoffel and veg art sausage, but very nice and pan roasted mushrooms with thymian on a roasted sourdough roll. my broth knowledge isn't so great, but I don't think it was madness? huge bag, tiny box felt a little unexposed when I looked in the bag. at 4.95 I am not sure if I would have it again, but would not write the place. the personal was in order, three of them, the only customer, did not feel welcome or appreciated, but I guess they were busy. if they like their breakfast and chic coffee and don't mind paying anything about the norm, then this is the place for them. 2.00 for 2x toast 3.25 for porridge 4.95 for vegan wurstbap 9.75 for vegan brekkie
The menu has some vegan veggie options, but I would not go here again. The food is very bland and not very well made. I tried the avocado toast and the vegan sausage bap. Good sourdough though. Not very good coffee, but the hot chocolate I had it with almond milk was pretty good. And the place is nice, with two floors.
I really like Urban. It’s a great place to eat and the food is great quality. It’s sometimes let down by the bottomless brunch clientele who tend to get a bit rowdy and ruin the chill vibe for the rest of their customers.
They’ve really ramped up the vegan options and it’s great to see so much choice. I had the biscoff pancakes this time and were delicious Updated from previous review on 2021-05-22
I've been waiting for this place to reopen post lockdown they have a great menu with some great vegan options. I finally had chance to get a vegan sausage bap today which comes with two non meat substitute sausages (more of a potato and veg kind of sausage but very nice) and pan fried mushrooms with thyme on a toasted sourdough roll. My bread knowledge isn't all that great but I don't think it was sour dough? Huge bag, tiny box felt a little deflated when I looked inside the bag. At £4.95 I'm not sure I would have this again but not writing the place off either. Staff were ok three of them to me the only customer, didn't feel welcomed or appreciated but I guess they were busy. If you like your breakfasts and fancy coffees and don't mind paying a little over the norm then this is the place for you. £2.00 for 2x toast £3.25 for porridge £4.95 for vegan sausage bap £9.75 for vegan brekkie
