Kings Balti - Bishop Auckland

The food was ready in about 15 minutes and remained hot for the additional 10 minutes it took to get back to our holiday home. The portion was generous, with a large round container filled to the brim and a substantial serving of rice on the side. The meal was excellent, with plenty of meat and sauce, all perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Would we recommend King’s Balti? Absolutely!

We ordered our meal for delivery this evening and were disappointed with the packaging. The brown paper bag containing the food became soaked in masala sauce because the lids weren't secured properly, causing everything to spill over and making the plastic bag messy as well. I took some photos to document it. However, despite the packaging issues, the food itself was absolutely first-class. It was just unfortunate that the presentation was a mess.
