The Joiners Arms - Bishop Auckland

The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance, and the food is outstanding. The steak pie is the best we've ever tasted and definitely worth the trip.

I brought my little cousin from Kendal to experience the culinary delights at The Joiner. He ordered a bacon cheeseburger and claimed it was the best burger (and the best fries) he's ever had—and that’s coming from a picky 13-year-old! I have to agree; I ordered the blue cheeseburger, which I usually finish quickly, but it was so delicious that I took my time to savor every bite without looking odd. Truly fantastic!

Last night convened with two of my family with 14 to 54 years, and eating received top marks from all. I had the North Sea cod I would strongly recommend. top pub and great company.

Friendly village local pub and restaurant. Fresh food is First class and very reasonably priced with good portions of great British fayre. Place is spotlessly clean, always a smile from behind the bar from Ian, Joanne and Lee, Caroline is our favourite waitress and Sophie the chef cooks steak to perfection. A very happy welcoming place buzzing with lighthearted banter that has a special magnetism which draws you back time and time again.
