Bishop's Falls Irving Circle K Restaurant

Myself and my partner went here for breakfast. We have eaten at hundreds of these restaurants throughout the country and never have had an issue before this. We both wanted breakfast sandwiches, but we wanted white toast. We were told no substitutions, we had to have an English muffin or bagel. We ask for the manager and explained this was our normal breakfast order at other Irving restaurants, he said "well his restaurant did not do any substitutions, no matter how small". He was rude, cocky, arrogant and lacked any professionalism. He said if we wanted white toast we would have to order it in addition to our sandwich??? Horrible horrible service. It was not the wait staff, they were just doing what he told them. He should never deal with the public, no people skills. We left without any breakfast as he was so rude and abrasive

We stopped in here while traveling across the island for the first real meal of the day at dinner time, and ordered a burger and fries with gravy. Our fries were cold, soggy cooked from frozen. The burger was overcooked and the gravy tasted like it came from a can. I usually like the Irving Restaurants, and we went past another restaurant to get to this one, looking forward to a good meal, but was very disappointed. The service was also something to be desired.

My family went there for supper where I had a stir fry, and my wife had pea soup. We both thought our meal were quite good. Service was pretty good and it was a good experience overall.

We have been coming to this spot a number of times over the years. We have found the food, portion sizes and service to be quite good. Normally my wife will have the Clubhouse and Fries.I always have the Breakfast Special which is served 24/7. Yet to be disappointed.

The Irving Big Stop is a friend on the way to most occasions, but this was under the Big Stop standard. The quality of the foods and portions had to meet the Irving standard. The service was not there for our convenience, but its... It wasn't a good visit.
