This place was recommended to me and we went to Wickham Hall. Outside is a big sign asking for you to wait to be seated, ws did not wait long and once inside we could choose where we sat. There was a lot of choice on the menu and they cater for those with food intlorences, the waitress asked if it was an intolerance or allergy and had good knowledge of the menu to answer questions. The staff were friendly, and efficient. There was a great atmosphere, staff buzzing around and lots of conservation going on. Drinks and food arrived in good time and was very good, waitress came and checked if everything was alright. Prices are comparable and did not strike me as overly expensive. They also offer take out so we took some gluten free carrot cake home, this was again very good and when walking out there were little handwritten notes on the boxes to saying enjoy which I thought was a really nice touch. As we were walked out, first thing we both said was yes coming here again. Additional info The tea shop is located in a modern built barn complex, which not only looks beautiful but the big windows provide plenty of light. The interior is tastefully decorated without being over the top, chairs are comfortable. There is parking near the cafe, and overflow parking available.
This place is a little gem of a cafe/tea room. I am a regular at this place and all be ause the location is beautiful, the staff are always so professional and the food is just amazing. The place is always clean and very welcoming. During covid period they say everyone outside and very limited numbers indoors (hand sanitisers available). I highly recommend this place for a breakfast or lunch with family and friends. Welldone to the team!
The outdoor seating is dog-friendly, and there are lovely public paths surrounding the farm. The food is incredible; I’ve never had a bad meal here!
I drove a mile to reach the restaurant, and it was definitely worth it. The place features fancy, comfortable sofas, a beautiful view, and incredible cake, all with great lighting. It was very clean and bright, with friendly staff and beautiful decor. The highlight for me was the maple syrup brownie—between the brownie itself, the icing, and the syrup, it was absolutely decadent! I'm sure this place will be even more stunning in the summer, with the large trees outside and the weeping willow nearby. Plus, they have a heated towel rail in the restroom, which is a nice touch—definitely better than those paper towels! I have to remind myself to check out the garden; it was lovely even four years ago.
