During my last two visits, I had to get my own silverware, and the quality of the steak has been very hit or miss. When this restaurant first opened, it was quite good and had a lot to offer. However, if they can't even provide silverware or serve a consistently good steak, then what's the point? I won't be returning!
I visited LongHorn tonight since I had a gift card to use. It had been a while since I had enjoyed a good steak, so I decided to give it a shot here. After all, if the meal turned out poorly, it wouldn’t be on my dime! I ordered the Ribeye, cooked medium rare, along with a baked potato. I must say, the salad, steak, and potato were all excellent. The salad greens were fresh and crisp, the potato was served hot, and the steak was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was exceptional, always making sure our drinks were topped off. Everything was so delicious that I was almost tempted to cover the bill myself, but hey, it's a free gift card!
I will not be returning. The server was rude, and the manager (or whoever he was) didn't seem to care that we wouldn't be back. I ordered the fillet, but it was undercooked. The server tried to convince me that it was fine, but it was more like roadkill than a decent fillet. It was terrible. I gave the server what she deserved: a $0 tip, especially after she argued with me. I won't be coming back! There are much better options for a good steak dinner!
The food was fantastic. The 6 oz. Filet medallion was cooked perfectly and had out of this world flavor. The fresh bread was a great compliment to the meal. The Service was as great as the food. Judy made sure we had everything we needed for a super dinner experience. I can't wait to go back there again.
Waitress was super slow for their only being eight people in the whole restaurant. There was more staff than guests and she still stood around and just gossiped with her coworkers. I ended up having to get up to ask for are drinks after we sat there for 45 minutes. Our food was delicious absolutely no complaints when it came to the food. We sat there for another 45 minutes just waiting for a ticket and once that didn't come I got up and asked her for it she still didn't come to pick it up so it would be paid so I took the ticket up and paid for it with a different waitress. I try to be very open-minded when it comes to wait staff due to me working in it for over 10 years however there was absolutely no exceptions for her. Just pure laziness
