The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was plenty of hot water. The pizza we had nearby was the best we've ever tasted!
We particularly appreciated the complimentary hot coffee, tea, and breakfast in the morning, especially during the challenges of the pandemic. Thank you for that! We ended up at this motel quite by chance while driving from Sedona to Los Angeles around 11:00 PM. The roads were too dark through the canyons, so we decided to find a place to stay in the next town instead of heading to Phoenix. That town turned out to be Black Canyon City. The motel was a delightful find—small but very welcoming and cozy. Our room featured vintage decor, which was a refreshing change. We had two rooms, one with a kitchen that was very handy for our two small children. The owner was friendly and helpful. While I agree that they could benefit from blackout curtains for better sleep, we didn’t expect a luxury experience; it had everything we needed. If we find ourselves returning to Sedona, we will definitely stay here again. Our group of five—three adults and two small children—really enjoyed our stay and loved the village atmosphere. Thank you!
