Taco Bell - Black Mountain

The staff was friendly. I ordered the two chalupa and one hard taco meal, but the shells were tough and chewy, which made me think they might have been a bit old. I returned to the counter with my bag, and they happily exchanged it for a fresh batch that had just come out. I really appreciated their kindness! Recently, at other fast food places, when I've pointed out an issue, I've often been treated as if I were in the wrong. So, it was refreshing to have such a positive experience where they acknowledged the mistake and handled it with grace. Thank you!

This restaurant is hardly ever open. Even before COVID, for the past three years, they would open around 11 or 12 o'clock, while other Taco Bells nearby were serving breakfast as early as 7 AM. I used to visit almost daily until an incident with the manager. While I was eating, he confronted me aggressively because I had thrown a wrapper out of my car. I calmly explained that he must be mistaken and tried to enjoy my meal, but he continued to invade my personal space. Eventually, I stood up and told him that his behavior was unacceptable. I suggested he could have asked me politely instead of yelling. If he wanted to wait for me to finish eating, I would be happy to discuss it at that point. It felt like we were having a dispute over Taco Bell trash. The place seems messy, and honestly, they put more meat in their tacos at McDonald's compared to here. I would rate it a 1 out of 10—don't bother eating here if you can even find it open.

I really enjoy the number 6 Steak Chalupa, but there have been times when they've given me a cold one. I kindly ask that they ensure the chalupas are fresh moving forward. If that happens, they could easily earn 4 or 5 stars!

Great dining experience with prompt and friendly service. Conveniently accessible from the interstate.

I came today and got a taco bell green and it was like a few pieces of salt poured on it. That was the worst experience I had at Taco Bell. Bad. And now I'm broken. Great.
