The Big Sandwich

I stopped by for a quick meal while cycling along the Liverpool-Leeds canal. The staff were friendly and there was a nice variety of options such as sandwiches, wraps, jacket potatoes, and delicious toasties. Everything was reasonably priced. Perfect spot for a refueling break!

Asked if they were still serving... Got a mumbled reply of yeah but obviously didn't want to!!!! Asked for a boxed chicken salad went to get some money.... Paid for it picked up the bag... I asked wot it was was told chicken salad I told them I asked for boxed... they just shrugged their shoulders..... Wen I opened it up I found as what can only be described as a very pityful sandwich the meat wasn't even chicken... Unfortunately they had closed so I couldn't take it back.... I for 1 will not be returning there.. Disgusted that I was even charged full amount for it. The staff clearly need to go on a customer service course

I have been a customer of this restaurant for many years. My mother and I used to come here for lunch on our days off while living in Darwen. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined significantly in the past few visits. After the last experience, we have decided not to return. The last order we had was a bagel that was so tough, it could have knocked someone out if thrown at them. It is a shame because this restaurant used to be great.

My coworkers and I have been getting breakfast sandwiches from this restaurant once a week for years. We trust that the food will always be ready on time and consistently high quality.

I get my breakfast here twice in the week eating is always well cooked and cooked to their preferential dinners are also very good and varied every day I would recommend to invite everyone
