The fish and chips were really good. They were freshly prepared.
During my visit to London, I had a disappointing fish and chips meal. Locals in Blackburn informed me that fish and chips are more popular in the northern regions of England. To my surprise, I found that there was a significant difference in portion sizes – the servings in Blackburn were much larger, with even a small order containing enough chips to feed three people. I personally prefer my fish and chips with just vinegar, salt, and tartar sauce, while my sister, wanting the full British experience, opted to try it with mushy peas and curry sauce. The cod was fresh, hot, and crispy, with a tender and flaky interior that even my picky toddlers enjoyed. This dining experience completely changed my perspective on British cuisine, demonstrating that it can be flavorful and satisfying, contrary to my previous belief that it was bland and unexciting.
I had a great experience dining at this restaurant. I used to live near Whitby where I had amazing fish and chips, and since moving to Blackburn and Manchester, I haven't found anything as good. However, this place exceeded my expectations with excellent food, perfect customer service, reasonable prices, cleanliness, and fast service. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.
Consistent food, great service and very reasonably priced
