Top brands for this restaurant come here definately and tell all my friends about it.
We found this restaurant by chance after our first choice had waited for an hour for a table. we went right in and sat right away. our drinks orders were made while we decided what to order. we had to wait long before someone came back to take over our order. it seemed that every employee had a certain job and they did this for everyone table, instead of assigning a waiter to each table to treat all our needs. that was excellent, we started with lettuce wraps. then our main thing were with ananas, sweet sour chicken and huh (with chili.) all 3 were delicious, especially the chicken dish with chili, if they like spicy food! I can't say enough good things about eating. had given a 5 star rating if the staff had been more attentive after sitting.
A beautiful Chinese restaurant, popular with local and visitors alike. many visitors come back every time they visit blackpool. an extensive menu and a decent wine list, with the always popular tiger beer as well as soft drinks and spirits. the seating area is spacious, with 2 large round tables, ideal for large groups. the banquets are nicely provided with a lot of food. my only criticism would be that the escaping is something on the dark side, but eating is more than for it. the toilets are above, so note that in understood when they struggle with stairs. worth visiting when they are in blackpool.
Wonderful Chinese. The service given was fantastic by staff and owners, nothing was too much trouble, really welcoming. The food was excellent, one of the best chinese restaurants i’ve eaten in. Atmosphere was good, no rush, no pressure to order. We will definitely book here again when visiting Blackpool next time! Thanks.
It is not in the most popularity of settings, with views of boarded-up shops on blackpools talbot road, but it is certainly a diamond in the rough. ocean palace is already there as long as I can remember, survived the awesome changes that have taken this part of the city from a busy shopping street to an oasis of after hours and drink it from the thickson road to the promenade. I would never have eaten there in all these years, but I was vaguely aware that there was a reputable Chinese restaurant along the stretch of a road that leads all the way to layton; I could make her outer, but never had a chance to walk in. we parked on the near queenn street and went around the corner (past cave’s corner, which must have been there for decades), negotiated by the night euls on the way to other city nucleus events at this week night; we were a stone throw from the points of them and another evening was just begun. also in the ocean palace several tables were taken as diners who used the three-course curs from Monday to Thursday to £10.95. it was an excellent offer, but, not a chicken and sweetcorn soup fan, I went through the main menu and we chose three appetizers in salt and chili, sesame prawns on toast and satay chicken kewers to share in the middle of the table. there were three of us, I'm in a hurry, and our choices were perfect by three a happy result as they all arrived hot and tasty and nobody sat back. the service was fast and reasonable. enough, but not too much. I have told a little about an ice-fetish, I have asked for a liter bottle of foam water and a large glass full of ice. this request, while always carefully announced, leads in the rule in small glass, two cubes not here. they earned additional points when I got a second full glass when I added another bottle to the order. it is the little things that are important, not true. chicken-picks are quite universal, but listening is not and it can mean so much when the whole point of an evening is to relax and let others offer it. our main thing came and the meat dishes were kept warm by tradition on a hot plate in the middle of the table. my crispy shredded bark was the best where I had ordered it, and I claimed the trophies for the best choice. my friends went for the scene kung pohuhn in a crispy vogelnest (she was always a little theatrical) and the ocean palace special chow mine, which, when it first arrived, we had thought for a second, there were some confusion and it was for two. our separately served rice and noodles just made us appear much more sensitive, but our portions were also plentiful and hot again. special bankette start at £16.95 per head, up to £23.95 to contain the crispy escape course and a huge series of netzens. there are also the usual lists of all chinese, with a cantonese twist, from chicken and bark to seafood and sizzling teller. I noticed a comment about the internet made special mentioning how hot all foods were served; essential, my opinion after, but a detail that is often overlooked. and another that our server saw us directly at the door to provide us a friendly farewell and not before we were ready to go either! our bill came to £79.95, of which rest was £54.20, which was sorted by I say the theater group are frequent visitors here, on the stage as well as out and I can see why. but to survive this long while others come and go takes more than a few special guests in the season. it takes a consistency of quality, a solid, repeating year round clientele and it is all in sparkling prove here.
