The Greeks' Catering - Blacksburg

Absolutely delicious Greek food! I had a gyro and a Greek salad, and the gyro was hands down the best. No question about it. If you find yourself in Lovettsville and are looking for tasty food at reasonable prices, Tom Havelos the Greek’s Catering should definitely be at the top of your list!

The owner is a wonderful person who prepares outstanding food. When I asked if I could touch his beard, he graciously agreed. It was both firm and soft—truly a genuine touch from the old country, where the winds still blow with authenticity. He also has a lovely pond where we fished as the sun was setting. We caught over 50 bluegill!

This restaurant is closed and has been replaced by Italiano's Pizza.

Best gyro I've ever had, and an epic steak and cheese sandwich!Highly recommended.

Updated review: I initially gave this place 5 stars when I went the first time. The food is still great (although the prices recently went up, it's still an amazing deal). The reason I lowered my rating is because the place is closed so often, and at odd times. CALL BEFORE YOU GO to make sure it's actually open. Also, call and check to see if he actually has what you want. For some reason, half of the time the owner will run out of steak, meatballs, etc. Although I love the food, it's often very frustrating because it's either closed or I can't order what I really want.
