Poppa Stewey's Eatery - Blackstone

I was excited to try this super cozy local place but the poor service left me feeling like perhaps they only cater to the locals. After sitting a few minutes the waitress let us know it would be a few minutes before the cook could catch up. We waited and when She came to take our order we had to ask for menus as we had just been left sitting there. The prices were great as was the food itself. I ordered the two eggs and toast with bacon and my husband ordered two blueberry pancakes and a small order of home fries. He asked about sugar free syrup. We get our food- my order came without the toast- I got that several minutes later. We had no utensils. We had to ask for sugar free syrup the waitress didn't bring- and we never got the home fries. I felt like I was an intruder- so I won't be back. I'll try some place else before I go back to a place that may have fairly priced, good food but doesn't make me feel welcomed!
