Sorry, but you need to lift your game if you want to survive in Sydney. There are many other better restaurant than this, I certainly would not part with my hard earned money for this type of low brow establishment. Don't bother coming here.
No no no, seriously not good. Very average. Ordered through Foodora and got the Marinated Pork Ribs, Shepherd's Purse & Pork Wontons & Zha Jiang Noodles. I'm not sure if it's because it was delivery, it just wasn't great. Everything was served separately, which is fine, but had to mix everything. The taste was not good, just so so average. The Pork Ribs was the only one that was half-way decent. I couldn't even finish it though. Really disappointed :( I missed out on my work dinner at Sea Bay so was craving good food, sigh. Total $26.50
First of all it took us 20 minutes to get someone's attention. Our dumplings were cold and when we returned them we received the same dumpling reheated. The reason why we know it was the same we marked it. Then we ordered the sweet and sour beef there wasn't any beef just a bunch of fried batter. So disappointing. Then their waitress wants to give attitude when you complain about the food. This place needs to shut down.
Went to New Shanghai for lunch today to have lunch with my brother on his work break. Don't even bother going there unless you are willing to wait one hour for thin air. We ordered 4 dishes and only two arrived in the space of the hour we were there for lunch (the amount of time that my brother had for his work break). After ordering, our first dish came out pretty promptly (within 10 minutes) but from then on the other three remained absent. The amount of times that we saw the tables around us receiving their dishes were numerous and we were especially irritated when people who had ordered after us were getting their food (especially dishes we had also ordered!!). We repeatedly asked waitresses and eventually even the manager where our food was, only to be told "the dumplings are coming in 3 minutes," to which we replied "and our salt and pepper tofu?" Eventually the pot stickers came out but the Xiao long bao didn't make an appearance until right at the end of the hour when we were just about to get up and go (this in itself is irritating because the Xiao long bao are the quickest to come out and the pot stickers the latest). We refused the Xiao long bao and told the waitress it was too late, that we had already spent an hour here, that it was unacceptable and we were going to take the bill and go. The icing on the cake: they had the nerve to hand us a bill with all four dishes, even though we had already complained about only receiving 2. If you want to see and taste the food that you order, I suggest eating lunch somewhere else.
*The stuff on the menu frequently sold out *The staff seem to lack of hygiene, *what service? very unfriendly *food tasteless.... Don't bother
