Paprika Spice House - Blackwood

This restaurant is a must-visit for our family. As vegetarians, we appreciate the excellent variety of food options available. Despite the unassuming exterior, the staff are incredibly welcoming and the food is beautifully presented. We dined in for dinner and found the price per person to be between £20-£30. The food quality and service both received top marks from us, earning a 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was also pleasant, earning a 4 out of 5.

I am Indian, but this restaurant is not authentic Indian cuisine. They claimed to serve chicken tikka, but it had a strong unpleasant odor which made me suspect they were using old chicken. They also served kebabs that were overly watery. I also tried their chicken biryani, which had an abundance of vegetables in it. I am on vacation in this area and would advise anyone reading this review to avoid eating here. The delivery service was acceptable.

I have dined in at this restaurant once and have also ordered delivery/takeaway from them multiple times. The staff is very polite and friendly, always up for a chat, which we appreciate. When we visited the restaurant midweek, it was quite quiet, giving us the staff's undivided attention. The atmosphere was a bit lacking due to the quietness, but the food more than made up for it. Every time we have eaten here, the food has been amazing, exactly as we expected, always hot and incredibly tasty. We have tried other Indian restaurants in town, but this one is by far our favorite.

The restaurant was clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, and served quick.
