Packers Kitchen - Blaine

Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was led to an area I wasn't familiar with. When I inquired about the seating, I was informed that the section I preferred was only serving walk-ins, while the area I was placed in was designated for reservations. The two sections of the restaurant have completely different atmospheres, and I felt let down that I ended up in a part I hadn’t anticipated. I had made the reservation with certain expectations in mind, as the ambiance is just as important to me as the quality of the food. While the food itself was good, I found it odd to have two distinct dining areas, which detracted from the experience I was hoping for. The section I preferred is, in my opinion, much more beautiful. If I could do it over, I would skip the reservation and take my chances on seating in my preferred area. I was also frustrated that the staff didn’t seem willing to accommodate our desire to sit where we would have preferred.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. It took about 7 or 8 minutes for someone to come to our table. The food quality was lacking, especially considering the prices. We tried the happy hour menu and then ordered dinner. The pizza was dry and tough, with very little flavor and scant cheese.

My family and I visited this restaurant, and since I live right on the spit, I had high hopes. While the service was a bit slow and the lemonade was quite disappointing, I appreciated that the waitress came back to our table to take away the lemonade before we even had a chance to complain. That was a nice touch.

Food was bland and absolutely crazy to be charged $22 /glas wine for subpar brand

The fish on the fish and chips was tasteless with no seasonings. The grilled cheese was soggy and did not taste very good. The steak and vegetables were really good, as were the fries. Service was excellent.
