That was my first time here. I had the French onion soup, Fish Hoagie and Loaded Baked Potato Pizza I took to go. Let me say, 1. considering the fact that the only other restaurant/restaurants choice in the city is a pizza place or sheetz that was a light fire! The French onion soup was good, but I wish it had a little more spicy and fleshy taste. It was something on the Bland side. The fish sandwich came with handmade frits that were very tasty along with the fish very fresh and tasty. I was glad to NOT see a triangle of frozen fish. It was also something under seasoned, but it was nicely made with fresh bread crumbs on a fresh hoagie roll. Going the pizza was a hit with my family later when I came home. Everyone loved it! The service was good... no complaints, but my waitress never asked me if I wanted a refill on my drink. I will definitely try again some of the other menu options, although I do not in the city that is often. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. 11/10/21 edit... I went back on 11/06/21 and was with my son who was 18 years old. This time I had the stuffed pepper soup and Rachel vs Reuben Sandwich. The soup was very delicious and the sandwich was excellent! My son got a burger although he enjoyed it after he tried my sandwich, he always said I wish I had it!! The Rachel vs Reuben Sandwich was brilliant and served on a freshly baked bungalow with real turkey (not lunch meat) and a beautiful ratio of beef to turkey. These hand-cut friars are also excellent!! We also shared an appetizer... crabcake... they were also very delicious!! We will definitely come back.
Oh, my God. We had here this afternoon. I'm Nooming, so I only had a garden salad and tomatoes basil soup, but they were so good that I hardly felt withdrawn. My love, on the other hand, had a hot sausage pizza. It looked wonderful, and he said it was the best artisanal pizza he ever had. Added to the goodness of the food was the fast and friendly service and reasonable prices. We found this place, but I see regular visits in the future.
I accidentally picked up this place from other Google reviews, and I'm so glad I did. My husband and I were always restaurant people and it was an experience to start seeing my son, on what makes GOOD food, really good. I chose the garlic Aglio Olio, wanted some light and my son chose the adult spaghetti and wanted more meatballs. The pasta was made from scratch and it was amazing. Fresh and tasty I was blown away. My child was also, from his first bite he went on and about how it was the best spaghetti he ever had in his life. He really wanted the recipe and asked our waitress (I think Amber??? I'm so sorry, I'm so bad with names!! but I expected the courtesy refusal, and took advantage of the opportunity to my son over “references to the cook”. What I didn't expect was that Chef Katie came to the table and spoke to my son. What a pleasure. My child got the opportunity to tell the boss how much he loved her recipe and how it was the best he ever had. She laughed when he asked about the recipe and joked that he had to work in her kitchen before she would tell him. Thank you for the wonderful meal and the beautiful memory. I'll come back one point if we're ever close and on the street. This was a shiny jewel on our summer road, I appreciate it so much!! I could not recommend this place enough!
I'm here twice. I'm obsessed with the bread sticks. I didn't eat anything else, they were so good. Also the french fries with cheese. I think everything you'll order will be great. And the waitresses are so nice and friendly. It's a great place.
