Solé At Woodlawn Beach - Blasdell

Just had my birthday party at Solé on Saturday; I booked with Leanne. Her and her team were great to work with! I booked the open bar “sandbar package” it was 45 per person for 3 hours, included all premium liquors wine and beers. The bartenders were great, they always are! I decided to book this venue after attending another open bar there and had such a great time. So I can say 2/2 successful events there in my book!Highly recommend working with them if you are looking to book a birthday, celebration, or even a happy hour.

A great new place for drinks and food on the beach!

Perfect place to grab a cool beverage, delicious food and hang on a warm sunny beach! The improvements made to the beach, bar and restaurant are amazing. Such a great day today. Felt like a vacation!

If you are looking for a nice place to chill on the beach and have a casual drink while doing some people watching near the water, then you will probably not mind stopping here. The beach is kept fairly clean, they have live music during various nights of the week plus you can even rent out your own Cabana for an additional charge. But why only 3 stars, do you ask? Well, although the bar has a nice selection of beer, wine and spirits, the staff tending the bar needs a bit more training. Often, when my friends and I went up to the bar, we were ignored while they socialized (or bickered) amongst each other and once a drink order was placed, it was a different amount than what we paid 30 minutes prior to going up there. They claimed to bar patrons that they had event pricing later on in the night, but truthfully I think they were making up prices because they had no idea what they were (and it wasn 't in the customer 's favor, believe me). The Bonfires they set up at sundown were cool to watch. I 'm just not sure this would be my first stop to get a drink during the day with the $8 parking fee (they waive that at night) and the inexperienced bartenders.

It was fun to sit in at a concert on the beach, in my bag chair with my feet in the sand, and a drink in my hand. The first band, Invisible Touch, was an '80 's cover band. They sounded great. We were sitting further back, halfway between the V.I.P. area and the chairs/couches. The main band, Absolute Journey, is an '80 's cover band who only sing Journey songs. For most of their set, I couldn 't hear the singer very well at all. The tiki bar is a cute idea and they offer a few different options but the staff there weren 't consistent with their drink prices. They charged my friend different pricing than what the guy in front of him ordered. They ordered the same thing. I should 've been more assertive. They kept taking people ahead of me. The one worker kept flirting with the guy who cut me in line.
