It was the best trout trout! I took trout in Mandelrock Trout into Mandelrock) and it was literally a piece of heaven for the eyes and the palate, for 21.50 euros. But from the start, the restaurant is located in a very quiet but pretty area. It has a very nice and cozy decoration inside, the feeling and ambience is simply great. Perfect place for romantic dinner or family meeting. The service was super friendly and attentive, and with a constant smile. Big and strong five for them. In addition to the main dishes trout in almond skirt 21,50) and trout Mullerin 20,50) with their killer perfection taste we also ordered from curiosity asparagus cream soup 6euro) and it was quite good, but for the first time to eat this kind of soup, so not sure whether it is better). We also received appetizers: at the beginning some really delicious bread with garlic herbal butter, and later a salad with very beautiful sauce. Overall, we paid little more than 50 euros for 2 people. Dinner was fabulous, highly recommended.
This restaurant has been run by the same pair for many years and serves wonderful regional dishes in a beautiful, traditional atmosphere. We ate too much, but enjoyed our trout and all other courses. The location is also very nice and we went there after visiting Blautopf.
Gemütliches Ambiente, sehr schön gedeckte Tische. Die Forelle war ausgezeichnet. Der Service zwar nett aber nicht ehrlich. Meine Frage ob im Garten noch ein Platz frei ist wurde verneint (Restaurant war leer). Als 15 Minuten später ein älteres Paar die gleiche Frage stellte waren plötzlich Plätze frei. Das trübt den Eindruck ein wenig.
Perfect swabish restaurant, owned and run by the same family for years. Go for the blue forelle !! Traditional atmosphere, excelent service.
