Bailey’s Smokehouse - Blauvelt

To quote my husband “that may have been one of the worse breakfasts ever”. For me it was. We both ordered French Toast. One with bacon; one with sausage. When served there was no butter with it and none on the table. The sausage was a patty and over cooked as was the bacon. We asked for another order of bacon and it wasn’t much better. As for the butter it looked like they used a knife and took a piece off a stick of butter and put in a small plastic cup. Very sanitary! When the waiter asked how everything was I told him. It was very evident his apology was insincere. Shouldn’t ask if you don’t want the truth. This was our first time and it will be our last. Definitely not recommending Bailey’s The Eatery to anyone.

What an experience! I have always loved smokehouses but had not been to any in a while. Knowing this, my boyfriend took me to Bailey’s, because he enjoyed eating there and his food friend (Chef Wilson) worked there. In about a week and a half we went twice and both times I was blow away by the food but also the service. Every single thing was amazing! Everything had its own unique taste, was cooked to perfection and was packed with flavor. Wilson also gave us some splendid dishes in addition to our order. Man, what an experience! I highly recommend Bailey’s Smokehouse. Also, Wilson has his own menu separate from Bailey’s, you can buy from both. You also will not regret getting the corn soufflé and the honey tater tots thank me later.

This restaurant was once excellent, with good food and consistent quality. However, things have changed significantly. The quality has really declined; the meat is very fatty now, and overall, it’s just not what it used to be. If you decide to order takeout, be sure to secure the packaging before putting it in your car, as they don't put much effort into it and things can get messy.

Absolutely fantastic barbecue! The pulled pork was incredibly tasty, and the burnt ends had a delightful umami flavor. My taste buds were thoroughly satisfied, and I left with some delicious leftovers. The bartender was a genuine Irish lass, and my drink was large and expertly crafted. I highly recommend this place. I give this barbecue a solid 5 forks!

Being from Texas, all bbq outside Texas is terrible. This was actually very good. Great service . Green beans were terrible though
