Although the prices are higher than what I’m used to back in Iowa, they seemed reasonable compared to other restaurants in the Fairbanks area. The service was friendly and attentive. The only downside I noticed was that the men's restroom was a bit messy, but that was the only issue during my visit. Overall, a great experience!
The cheese curd appetizer was hot and tasty, although it was a bit greasy. I ordered the cheesesteak with fries and buffalo wings, both of which were outstanding. The service was friendly and attentive.
I ordered the ½ lb BBQ boneless wings along with a side of tater tots, and I found the meal to be quite satisfying. The wings were flavorful and well-seasoned, while the tater tots were seasoned just right—neither too salty nor too bland. The wings are available in increments of ½ lb, 1 lb, and 1.5 lb, but unfortunately, you can't mix and match flavors for the ½ lb portion, which is a bit disappointing. If you’re moderately hungry, I would definitely recommend the meal I had; the ½ lb portion includes around 8-10 boneless wings, each manageable in just 1 to 1.5 bites. The atmosphere is laid-back and perfect for large groups or families wanting to enjoy a meal together, with a relaxed dress code—feel free to come as you are. Why not a full five stars? The service left something to be desired; they mistakenly brought us the wrong checks twice and even handed us someone else's credit cards when we were ready to leave. It was quite busy, so I’m only deducting half a point for that. The other half-point is due to the excessive noise and somewhat high prices. A helpful tip: there's plenty of parking available, so there's no need to arrive super early. Also, it's wise to call ahead to check for wait times, especially on game days, as this place can get quite crowded.
This restaurant certainly has the curb appeal that announces it's a great spot for family dining—definitely worth checking out! It has an interesting vibe and is well-maintained, making it an inviting place to stop by. The exterior is welcoming, and the interior is kept in great shape. The menu is incredibly extensive, offering everything you could want and more, including delicious shakes! I would compare it to the Cheesecake Factory, but focused on classic American fare, with a more casual dining experience, minus the Cheesecake Factory's specific items. With such a large menu, I had my doubts about the quality, but I was pleasantly surprised—the food is quite good. The shakes were enjoyable, the food was decent, the atmosphere was very family-friendly, and the service truly stood out as excellent.
The service was decent. We were told to choose our own seats, but it did take some time for a waitress to approach us. Once she did, the service was excellent. My only real complaint about this place is that it feels a bit overpriced for what you receive. The cheesesteaks are over $20 each, and appetizers range from $10 to $20. I'm not entirely sure it justifies the cost, but at least the food is better than most other options in town.
