Stopped in for coffee while out for a drive with my elderly mother, decided to have some desert with it. Had a berry cobbler. Very generous portion, and it was amazing. People were very friendly and service was great. Nice little place with that small town feel. They also gave my mother a free frozen meal to take home and try as they also deliver meals to the elderly. It was also a very generous portion at a reasonable price.

We've eaten here a few times now. It doesn't disappoint. The only disappointment is if your request is sold out. I was finally able to have the chicken and dumplings with two biscuits, YUMMY . Hubs had fried chicken with coleslaw, and mac n cheese. Everything is homemade and delicious! Go early in the to avoid your pick being all gone.

Been often with my husband and 2 young kids (1 and 3). Really great food. Always remember my kids' names and are kind to them. Family atmosphere. A lot of restaurants these days are cold and impersonal and this restaurant definitely is not. Nice that it is close to Rondeau Provincal Park. Take out frozen food also good.

If you're looking for fine dining, this is not it. It is however very tasty, hot to the table food at very reasonable prices. I had the southern fried chicken wings in a bourbon / brown sugar sauce that was incredible. The soup was potato leek cheddar which was equally delicious. The special was smoked brisket. Looking at my friends plate, I thought for a minute he had licked it clean because honestly there wasn't a crumb left on it. Yep, it has plastic table cloths and freezers for take home but I'll tell you, I'll be going back for delicious, reasonably priced food from two people that truly make your meal enjoyable.

Found this gem through a facebook group, and I can't express how glad I am that I did. Went for dinner, and honestly I had trouble choosing because everything sounded delicious. Wound up going with chicken and dumplings with biscuits. I'm not kidding when I say it was better than mom's (she'd kill me if she saw this review though, so keep that to yourself). Friend of mine had the pulled pork, and raved about it (when she could stop eating long enough to do so). Hush puppies were delicious, and the owner was an absolute sweetheart.I found my new favorite restaurant!
