Delicious omelet. They offer a breakfast buffet and also has a budget breakfast that includes a cuppacino for a very good price.
The food was not up to standard, it was tasteless. We waited very very long for our food. The waiter's hand looked as if it was badly injured, you could actually smell the strong medicine that was applied to his hand, this is in my opinion very unprofessional. The tomato bottle on the table was so dirty and disgusting, I could not touch it. This was my 5th and last time at Traumerei. Cheers
I am not someone who ever complained about the service or the flood but I think the price for what you get is not always great. I work close by and do like to have a nice lunch every once in a while. The breakfast buffet is a real treat and would come just for that but for anything else on the menu I won 't pay that much money for. The traumazini is usually my go to for a filling lunch in a busy schedule. But today I wat really unhappy with the dish that was served. Crumbed chiken and pineapple with peppedew suposedly . Not worth R95 if you ask me. I think they could have at least put a little bit of procesed cheese on to give a flavor other than sweat chilli sauce. I do try and support them when I can and tip the waiters every time I do order a take away even if they did not need to do much. I will recommend maybe having some cake there and rather take lunch at one of the other restaurants nearby.
Our waitress was satisfactory but you have to wonder when your server advises you against various things on the menu and can only half heartedly recommend one dish by saying it 's not so bad . I had a cappuccino that was rather weak and the springroll and samosa basket with chips. The pastry (puff pastry, not even phyllo) to filling ratio on the samosas was 95% thick, chewy pastry and 5% filling of an unidentifiable nature. The samosas were slightly better but still bland and not worth the money. The chips tasted mealy and stale and were obviously cooked in old oil. Give it a skip your stomach will thank you.
