It’s daunting when walking inside. I’m glad I was there after covid so they didn’t have the seemingly buffet section open. But as far as take out Chinese food goes pretty top notch surprisingly. Seriously good fried rice and sesame chicken, you can’t beat the price, and friendly service. Hole in the wall places like this go unnoticed in middle America and it’s a shame if I lived closer I’d eat there more often, the only other good Chinese food place I know that is similar is in sommerset and their staff is pleasantly unpleasant. These people are true midwesterners polite and kind through and through.
Not the greatest Chinese food I have had. It was good, but not great. And for the price, I have had much better food. But, it is authentic, and they make the order fresh, so it's still a safe bet for a quick, good bite to eat.
I’ve been a fan of Takee-Outee for a number of years and always chose them over other local Chinese restaurants but tonights sweet and sour pork and wonton soup was subpar. The pork looked and taste like it was made hours earlier and the wonton soup had a funky taste like it was canned soup. I must say I was disappointed with the meal I ordered.
The staff was very nice and pleasant. However they gave me the wrong order and my wife had ordered a dinner as well. The sweet and sour chicken was by far the worst I ever had.Her dinner of veggies and fried rice was just okay.
