Contribuisci feedbackI miss you!! I came here hundreds of times over 20 years. I used to come in multiple times a week, but not as frequently in recent years. I will miss Hanks roll, Dragon roll, Kamikaze and hand grenades the most! I've not found anywhere that did it like you. Best of luck. Love you xo
Coroner service is definitely not there strong suit, when asked what they recommend server said I cannot pick for you Saks walked away... food was great and tasted super fresh, I would definitely redoing ...
I really really like this place. It's a family owned restaurant who is working hard to get out from under the thumb of Covid and make a better life! For those who follow my reviews you know that I make it a point to speak with the owner whenever I can and Tony was such a gracious and very kind man with a soft spot for his grandson who frequents the restaurant. And Strawberry his wife (you gonna pick an American name, why not. Who doesn't like s?! is attentive and kind and always seems to be looking out for her customers. For lunch I had the sushi trio. Three sushi rolls... guess how much... $12!!! That is incredible! It came with soup and tea which were both very good. The miso i soup in particular was heartier than I am used to and when that heartiness combined with such a great and elegant taste at just the right temperature, I have to say it made my heart sing. In short, go here. Support our local businesses who have good product and personnel and as an added touch, when you pull up you see a on the sign. Happy Sushi. I like that :
I came in on a Sunday afternoon because it was the only sushi place open in the area. I went with the salmon lovers box and my friend went with the tuna lovers box, which came with tuna/salmon salad, tuna/salmon hand roll, tuna salmon roll, nigiri, and sashimi. We also ordered crab rangoon as an appetizer. Our boxes came with miso soup. It was good and not too salty! The crab rangoon were okay. The filling had large pieces of onion that I wasn't too fond of. Our salmon/tuna lovers box was a great portion and I liked the presentation of the boxes, but the fish didn't taste fresh. It wasn't terrible, but I've definitely had better. Additionally, the water cups were chipped and the restaurant didn't seem very clean. It is an okay spot for a quick sushi fix, but I don't think I will be returning.
Great lunch specials, the rolls aren't too rice heavy, and their krab rangoons are the best I've ever had! This place is very decent for the dollars and I don't mind coming thru when I'm in the area. Granted, it's not the best tasting and freshest sushi I know of in the NW burbs, but it's decent for Bloomingdale.
