Wolfden Brewing Company - Bloomingdale

Five stars! Wolfden is exactly what Bloomingdale needed. First and foremost, they craft excellent beers. However, what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere, along with the friendly owners and staff. I also appreciate the expanded food menu. This has become one of our favorite spots to enjoy a summer evening, especially with their dog-friendly patio.

- Boujie Fruit: a blackberry raspberry sour - Zombie Paczki: a raspberry golden pastry ale - Grandma Vi's Pretzel Pie: a creamy strawberry ale - Banana Fiasco: a banana pastry stout All the beers were bursting with flavor, though I wished for a bit more banana in the pastry stout. They have a great selection available, but unfortunately, the chef was sick on the night we visited. The brewery hosts numerous events and daily specials, so I’ll definitely return to try their food. They also have a spacious outdoor beer garden where dogs are welcome.

What used to be a distinctive local brewery that welcomed patrons with their dogs has unfortunately transformed into just another overpriced brewery. They've implemented a ban on dogs inside, effective immediately, as they have started serving food. While I can’t fault the owners for wanting to make a profit, I believe what made this place special is now gone. Bring back the dogs!

We were present during concern/incident with Megan’s dog. The owner was incredibly accommodating to offer the dog a bowl of water while the dog owners had a beer. They kindly asked them to have their beer and leave after so the other patrons (allergic ones) could stay…On top of staying within city regulations. I was impressed with the accommodations and disheartened to see the negative review. With inflation and being a small business owner, I think they have been super accommodating and reasonable.

Solid beers and atmosphere! We needed to kill some time before an event nearby, so we ordered a flight and played a round of bananagrams. (Lots of other games to choose from too! Would definitely come back again and try more beers and some of the food!
