I called the restaurant to request a refund, as I wasn't going to make the trip back. The staff informed me that I would need to return the food in person to receive a refund. I couldn’t help but wonder what they would do with the returned food – reheat it and serve it to the next customer? In short, the customer service was lacking, and based on our experience, the food didn’t impress us, raising concerns about it being served again. The only thing we could eat were the wontons, and unfortunately, they were quite poor as well. There are definitely better Thai options in the Twin Cities. Slow service, as they started making my order only when I arrived to pick it up. It took a whole hour to receive just one portion of fried rice. The service felt entitled. Adding to the disappointment, the fried rice turned out to be excessively salty, rather than flavorful, resulting in a complete waste of time and money. My family has been eating at Sawatdee Bloomington for over seven years and loves it. The food is always excellent, and the servers and atmosphere very pleasant. We order from the menu, where there are so many options, including vegetarian. The servers answer our questions completely. It is a spacious place with a lot of windows.
