Looking for bland overcooked meal? U found the spot! The food offered is uneventful, Midwest meets British cuisine. I only go there when it's prearrange by other ppl, would never choose on my own. That said, the quality of the food is not bad. Veggies they use are fresh, the meat is not bad either. The atmosphere is very fancy yet relaxing. Not a bad spot to get away to from the stress. The service is very good in general too. Not a bad place overall 3/5.
Went for Easter brunch and the service was really rough. Our first server I had to track down. Didn 't get coffee or waters for 10 min. Sorry but waters should be first and ready for servers to grab and drop on tables. Server stated he 'got lost '. Mimosa tasted like it was made with the lowest quality champagne. The salmon on the bagels were inedible. The other food and deserts were standard and quite good. We started getting served by a second server who picked up the pace but at that point we were essentially done with our meal. For 50 bucks a person and buffet style, I expect better beverage service.
Our experiences in the tudor room to celebrate coach hobies living were more than excellent! the food was fresh and tasty; coffee exactly right and the baked will make everyone's mouthwater. the decoration and the piano and everything else was right! the building is very historical and festive at the same time. highly recommended!
Spendy, but only brunch buffet in town. Coulda done with some hotsauce. Good for a large group of hungover grad students
