Mcdonald's - Blountville

Friendly staff, liked the new kiosk for ordering. very clean renovated dining room. Recommend for short journey through tn!

When first walking in, the cashiers that walked out the door past me let me sit in the lobby for about 7 minutes until somebody realized was at the counter. After finally getting my order taken, I watch the gentleman in the back making my Mcmuffins with no gloves on. I then asked the manager to have somebody with gloves make my order. Then, as the lady go's to prepare my order for the second time, she only has one glove on that was already on prior to her being asked to make my order and the manager decides to go back and make them a third time himself. After a look of total frustration, I get my food and am told that I got a free apple pie. I guess giving a customer a free apple pie makes it alright that the employees don't wash hands, change gloves or wear gloves for that matter. I also must mention the lobby was empty and there were like 2 cars in the drive thru so it wasn't like they were swamped. I will never return again and will be calling corporate.

Went to this location on 12/30/21 because it said it was still open till 11pm on both the McDonald’s site and on google. Got there 5 minutes after 10pm to find out it closed at 10pm. If this location is closing earlier than what is posted online please fix this.

Pulled in here off the highway on a roadtrip. The place was decorated on the outside with cute window decorations. Unfortunately that's the only positive thing I have to say. We tried to go in to use the bathroom, both doors were locked with no sign or hours posted. We attempted the drive thru to at least order a sweet snack. We asked if the inside was open and the drive thru speaker said it was closed. We inquired about a sign and she seemed indifferent and restated they are closed. We then asked for a Mcfurry and heard the age old tale of there being no ice cream at McDonald's. Then as we went to leave the parking lot, no food and a full bladder, and saw 3 adorable cats. This could be an unusual day for them, but it did seem like a gathering place for stray cats. Wish we had the courtesy of a sign or an apology for the inconvenience caused. The shell next door is nicer inside than you'd expect
