*Update - I submitted my review before we even left! When they noticed that my 2-year-old daughter hadn't touched her meal, they removed it from the bill. The staff here are truly remarkable! We visited during the holiday season and found this charming little barbecue and bar by the lake. The team was incredibly friendly, and I can't praise them enough. I will definitely return on my next visit, as I was truly impressed by their service.*

My family treated me to a birthday dinner recently, and we all had a wonderful time. Our server, Sharon, was friendly and efficient. The view of the marina from the spacious outdoor terrace was lovely; it’s shaded and also dog-friendly. I enjoyed a very tasty hamburger. We all shared fried mushrooms as an appetizer, which were beautifully crispy. I deducted one star because the coleslaw wasn’t very good. Three of us ordered it as a side, and none of us liked it; it was quite bland, overly sweet, and lacked any tang, possibly due to the absence of vinegar. Aside from that, everything else was solid bar food, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We would definitely return!

This restaurant has a wonderful setting for unwinding after a long day. The views of the lake are stunning, the service is excellent, and the food is delightful! The staff appears to be very family-friendly, treating all guests as if they are regulars.

I had a grouper I thought was excellent. My only complaint was the menu says you get 5 big pieces, and what I received as one of my 5 pieces was a sliver of fish smaller than a chicken smugget. I'd recommend it if you come here and groupers. My wife got the buffalo chicken pack that wasn't good at all. The chicken was served cold and tasted like much liquid smoke. She ate two bites and left the rest. The location, atmosphere and theme has a lot of potential, the food performance needs just a few tweets and this place could be really great.

Absolutely the best staff ever. The kitchen is small but you can see the staff working hard and fast. Everyone is extremely pleasant. Very fun upbeat environment. Must admit I am there six days a week. Love love love This Sunny Spot for Shady People.
