Royal Waffle King - Blue Ridge

Our experience was terrible. For a place called the Waffle King, the waffle and pancakes were just terrible! Make yourself a favor and find another place to have waffles and pancakes. Kevin

We were looking for a place to breakfast and that seemed to be the only place that was open early. Waitress originally, who welcomed us, wanted to run hot food first. I fully support this, but then she forgot us and never came back for even beverage orders. I had to grab someone else's attention and the original waitress said I forgot about you, I'm sorry. The service was part of the place. The food was too. I saw a lot like a waffle house that I didn't tend too often, but there weren't many possibilities. Hadn't seen an outside area as these pictures aren't safe. Iur seat was really unpleasant. Small table and I were secured up to a metal pole, so I couldn't hold my chair back at all. If the job was done, yes.

The place was packed on Sunday in the late morning. And apparently it's like this every weekend. We sat pretty fast the waitress was quick to get our drinks our order. It took about 45 minutes to get our food. Our sweet waitress with refills kept a close eye on orders even apologised for waiting. Once we got our food, it was very good. I might try it again, but NOT at the weekend.

The food was good. Service on the other hand. First from our waitress (Betty jo) eat frits next to the grill. I drink her drink next to the grill. Had her handbag on the counter of waffle manufacturers. Then never washed her hands after doing. I don't know how you run your grocery service, but if I were a state, I would have beaten you several times. Customer service must also be handled. She was constantly on the phone in the cooktop and never once offered to drink my guests. Also the prices on your menu need to be updated a Belgian waffle is 4.49 still rings up to 4.99?

Fantastic service, food and prizes!! Great choices on the menu.My waiter Jake was fabulous better server than some 5 star high end restaurant's in Atlanta, New York and Houston!!
