Yes, there was a confrontation, but it was not due to any errors on the server's part. I firmly believe in customer service, but I also value quality. The server was very busy, not only serving my table but also a large group of 15-20 people and several other tables. The table in question was unhappy that the server was unable to attend to them as quickly as they desired. Another server tried to help, bringing them drinks and updating them on the situation. Despite having been waiting for their food for 30-40 minutes, they were upset to see the server tending to the larger group. When the server in question approached to address the issue, they demanded their food. The server informed them that their food was not yet ready, but they were insistent. The customers were frustrated, feeling that their order was being delayed in favor of the larger group's. The server explained that the larger table was also waiting for their food. Despite this, the customers were not satisfied and demanded to be served immediately. The server offered them the option to wait or leave if they were not willing to be patient. The restaurant was busy both inside and outside, contrary to claims that it was not. I refrain from offering my personal opinion on the matter, but it was clear to me that the confrontation was inevitable. It is easy to make false claims to manipulate others, but the truth is evident. I feel sorry for the server, but I commend them for standing their ground. The customer is not always right; a little patience and understanding would have gone a long way. I witnessed the server tirelessly running around the restaurant trying to satisfy all customers. I would like to leave a positive review for them, as they truly deserve it. I highly recommend trying the Blue Coyote if you find yourself in the area. The food is outstanding and the service is impeccable.
The appetizers were great. The service was extremely slow and our dinners came out cold. We were disappointed being from out of town and looking for a good local experience.
Went in New Years Day, staff had not shown up and one person was working. He explained that the service would be slow but we were not in a hurry. We got a couple of beer, placed our order, and he made it happen. Not only was I impressed by his ability to handle the place alone but his service was impeccable. Fun atmosphere, the food was cooked as requested and they have a huge selection of draft beer.
We were extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. After a hot, tiring day, we were seated promptly but after waiting for 25 minutes without even being able to order drinks, we decided to leave. It seemed like the staff recognized us but still failed to attend to us. Furthermore, the restroom was dirty, indicating a lack of attention to cleanliness. It's a shame because the restaurant has a great location and potential. Overall, it was a disappointing waste of time.
The dining experience at this restaurant was typically great, but on this particular evening, it fell short. I ordered fries and cheese as well as a Philly cheesesteak with fries. While my friend enjoyed the sandwich for its size, the fries were disappointingly soggy. What bothered me the most, however, was discovering a mandatory 18% gratuity for groups of 6 or more that was not clearly stated on the menu. I was unaware of this additional charge until I returned home and noticed that the bill was higher than expected.
