Fogo De Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

Having been to Fogo de Chao in Brazil many times, my spouse was excited to take me here for Father's Day. While the food was excellent, our server was very poor. She did not even bring us our cards for steak; instead, a secondary person noticed and brought them out. This went on all evening, and for a meal that was a few hundred dollars, I wouldn't go back. We would have had more adult drinks and dessert, but by the time we were asked if we were ready for the check, we just decided to pay and leave.

Sad to give this review since I love fogo and frequent the ones near my home in Texas. I stopped by this location on a work trip for lunch. There was no hostess to greet me or anyone at the door. I had to flag down a waiter. The actual waiter for my table, he says he goes by “G” was inattentive and only spoke to me when he seated me and when I asked for the check. Not once did he check up on me. In fact, I had to stand up and get the attention of 3 other staff members. The Gaucho who served me was the only one who actually put in my requests for food, but even that fell short since my waiter just left my food sitting in the kitchen. After asking multiple times for the plate of plantains, cheesy bread and potatoes that are supposed to come with the full churasco experience, it did not get to my table until I was finished with my meal. Additionally, the meat served to me were cheap cuts or the last piece of that skewer of meat. At $70 (after tax) for a meal, the last thing I want to do is repeatedly ask for service and get served chicken drumsticks multiple times despite asking for different cuts. This is the most infuriating Fogo experience. I absolutely do not recommend this location to anyone.

Where do I start. Had a reservation, showed up early to grab a drink. Went to the restroom and watched an employee he was a hispanic host, waiter Friday night at 6. walk out of the stall (no flush) and didn't wash his hands. What could he have been doing? (We all know) Then got sat down the servers were nice for the most part. But I ended up with food poisoning. Can't imagine how. All in all, I was just so disappointed and we spent 800 Dollars on dinner. I really expected better for that price.

Extremely disappointed with this experience. Maybe its because I have become accustomed to nice places like 801 Chop, but this place was not nearly as good as I remember it being. It took 15-20 min plus to see any meat other than two sad little pieces of pork sausage. The meat that came were the lower quality cuts: chicken, top sirloin, bottom sirloin. There was also lamb. Where was the filet? the ribeye? Where was the flavor in all of the meat. Every piece I got was lukewarm and was damn near mooing, despite my asking for medium rare. The service and meat offerings were really, really pathetic last night.

Had the most amazing experience tonight, Everyone was so helpful and checked on us constantly to see if we needed anything. The people going around with the meats came often and kept out plates full. There where a few people we could over here complaining about them not coming to their table ? They were right next to us and got the same service we did. I made sure to let one of the managers know how amazing the staff was and to ignore the bystanders trying to get free stuff. Highly recommend and will be back again soon.
