Lidia’s - Blue Summit

Very nice spot for some authentic Italian food. The espresso martini was outstanding! Tables are very close together, but you can still hold a conversation without hearing too much of others.

As always it was a good experience, the waiter seemed new or just very busy and had a couple frustrations but was prompt and made sure everyone was taken care of. The food is always delicious when we have visited so I was surprised my order was cooled and the chicken tough. The last time I had the same dish it melted in your mouth. It was a very busy evening with 3 large parties so I figured it was due to that. The coffee and dessert was amazing. Great atmosphere too!

We have only been to Lidia's once before, and we have been trying to return for another round. Our second visit was just as memorable! Hats off to our helpful server and the rest of the team. The daily pasta trio meal was the perfect way to sample the best housemate pasta offerings and balance it with salad and dessert. Scrumptious! Can't wait to return!

In the past, we always enjoyed Lidia 's. No anymore. Ordered a simple spaghetti with meat sauce for our 16yr old. Spaghetti noodles were stuck together and not cooked all the way through. One blob was still crunchy when she bit into it. The meat sauce did not have enough red tomato sauce with it, just mostly meat throughout the noodles. Had to order extra sauce for that and for the sampler plate which came without hardly any sauce. By the time the waiter got the sauces to us, our pasta was cold. The bread was dry and he never brought out more, we had to ask for more. Very few vegetarian choices available. Side garden salad was filled with mostly purple cabbage, like we got the bottom of the bowl for salad and too few choices for dressing. I know Lidia 's is THE place to go, but quite disappointing. Couple sitting at table next to us, said the quality has gone way down and only were there for their anniversary dinner because it is where they ALWAYS go, but they no longer eat at Lidia 's because it is too hit or miss so only are there once a year. I can not recommend Lidia 's like I use to and won 't be back anytime soon.

The appetizers, main course and desserts were all wonderful. The only issue we had was narrowing down the menu choices to 1 item apiece. The presentation was great. Celebrated our 30th Anniversary there. We both left with smiles on our faces!
