Not the server or cooks fault but there was only 1 cook working and a table of 6 guests was before us so we were told there would be about an hours wait for our food. We were not told this when we entered or sat down. We asked when we noticed some time had passed and nothing was coming out of the kitchen and the other table had not received their food yet. Don?t apologize. BE proactive. When we entered this location, our nostrils were assaulted by the musty stench of of the dining interior. The table we sat at was sticky. We ended up paying for our drinks and leaving. Time is of essence when travelling and it seems this restaurant does not prioritise customers otherwise this issue would have been addressed already. How do you only have 1 cook on duty? How are you even in operation with the dowdy interior, musty smell and sticky menus? Never again. Response to Perkins Response; Dear Management, Thank you for your automated response that you have also used on the other reviewers. Please implement a plan to revamp this restaurant, hire, train and retain staff. Freshen up the dining area by steam cleaning the carpet, eliminating the musty dowdy smell. Clean the tables properly with cleaners that remove sticky residue. Make this place somewhere where people actually want to sit down and dine. 1 hr wait for food when there are just a few tables with 1 cook is unacceptable. It is poor customer service. I won't be revisiting.
I am a very frequent visitor at Perkins. I order carry-out there sometimes twice a week. The staff is very friendly. I order the same thing almost every time. The manager there knows be by first name. And remembers everything I order. Without me having to tell her. That means allot to me. Great job To all the cooks and staff!!!
If I can give it no stars I would ! The server was nice, the Manger was afraid to comfort the cook on his lack of professionalism! Whomever; cooked the food is horrible and has a bad attitude. We simply asked for our hash brown to be crisp, the cook didn 't like that request and over cook them. Very unprofessional, he knew that no.one would eat them, so he had another plate and those were just as bad. The eggs tasted like a can of spinach! It was sad because we came in town to visited my Father for Father 's day and this is the food we was hoping was worth our time and money. I have called the owner left my number several times still no call back! This is just so unfortunate that the lack of professionalism all the way around! ?
Food was ok. Some of the staff was a little on the rude side. For the area, this was not that bad. Have had much worse experiences at the McDonald's and other fast food restaurants in the area. It was nice that Perkins was attached to my hotel and we had a free breakfast voucher for the first morning we were there. We ate here twice on the trip, so I feel like my opinion has some weight.
Wow, not very good. The salad was uninspired, straight out of a bag, limp, tasteless, and gross. The turkey and dressing was a salty mess served lukewarm, I ordered this off their 55+ menu, every senior I know limits their salt intake, this meal would cause blood pressure to spike surely. The free pie was just fruit with a ton of sugar and a wet crust. Won?t be back to any location with the exception of maybe trying a breakfast some day.
