Everything was delicious, tasteful, fresh, and I love that they have so many homemade options. The service was impeccable, the food was to die, and they were even friendly enough to give me a nonna shirt when my date accidentally spilled all his glass of wine over my shirt and table????
Great happy hour. Food was great, a real traditional Italian restaurant.
I've always loved the food here and I've been a customer for almost two years. Besides the food in I ordered the delivery 10 times. I just called to put a job well over $100 and was told they didn't and never delivered to me. When I told the young lady that I ordered many times before I said that her manager informed her that they did not deliver to me, and I have to lie somehow, even after I informed her that I literally called out of the start menu that I received on my last delivery order. Unreal. I guess they can afford to lose business and money. Don't eat here again.
Oh, my God, I've eaten at Nonna? This restaurant is not only adorable, it is absolutely fantastic. It is located on the oldest street in Saint Augustine and the restaurant has only 10 tables. At each table you feel like you? at the cooking table. Chef interacts with every guest and follows to make sure their orders are perfect. Couldn't ask for better food! Absolutely wonderful, you have to try.
We were meeting friends who picked the restaurant. I read the reviews and was looking forward to dining here. Sat outside on the patio in the rear of the restaurant. They have very good focaccia. I asked if the veal is milk fed and tendered and the waiter said yes so I ordered the VITELLO SORRENTINA . It was veal scallopine with eggplant, prosciutto, tomato, fresh mozzarella sherry wine, served with roasted potatoes. I opted for pasta instead of the potatoes. It wasn't that tendered and just fair. My wife decided on two different appetizers, MELANZANE ALLA PISANA , a tower of eggplant, fresh mozzarella, fresh tomato, and homemade basil pesto with pine nuts Also the CAVOLFIORE ALLA SICILIANA , sautéed golden brown cauliflower, topped with bread crumbs and pine nuts. She thought both were just ok. Sadly one and done.
