Franz Ferdinand - Bochum

Lovely atmosphere, spotlessly clean, helpful English speaking staff. A nice location, backing onto a pond with flamingo in. Food was very nice. Our group was sat outside and after sunset when it became chilly we were all given blankets! Definitely worth a visit.

Located in a calm area, close to a hospital, easy to reach with many parking slots close by. Typical Austrian food, very nice ambient and comfortable chairs. Visited with a fried, pricy but worth it, went for the Wiener Schnitzel and enjoyed a nice and filling meal. Very very friendly personell, polite and fast. If you're visiting Bochum and need a place to have good food (away from all the main stream and fast food) Franz Ferdinand ist the place to go! Might need to make a reservation on weekends, we got a table on Friday evening but it was pretty hard for people arriving after us to get one without waiting a while. Enjoy! By the way the menu is written in Austrian slang, might need to ask for some ingredients haha

Very nice place to stay, next to the zoo of Bochum. The kitchen is Austrian style. You feel being in Vienna at Plachutta. But the Personal is much more friendly, here.

Stopped here for a coffee and dessert. The ambience was lovely, staff was friendly and the cappuccino was very good. Dessert was ok. Terrace on the back was also great as it had a great view of a nearby park. Did not have any entrees.

Very Nice restaurant, with great dishes! Good atmosphere, can combine business dinners or casual dinners. Very kind and friendly staff
