Richter Tavern - Boerne

One word......Excellent!! That describes the food, craft cocktails, service, atmosphere and the incredible building!! Downstairs is Cork Keg, upstairs is the Richter Tavern and in the way upstairs (third floor) is a secret members only bar and club called Oben!! We ate dinner and walked around the cool building and found a guy named Guy. He was so awesome and told us the building history and introduced us to Oben! Add this place to your bucket list, places to visit and your next food crush!! Their food was yummy!!

Pizza is awesome! I think it was our favorite dish of the night. The Brussel sprout appetizer is very good too with the sauce they use.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Richter. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch, leaving us truly impressed. The attentiveness and care of the staff made the evening even more enjoyable. And let's talk about the food – it was nothing short of spectacular. Every bite was a burst of flavors that delighted our taste buds and left us wanting more. The ambiance added to the charm of the place, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home.It's safe to say that Richter has left a lasting impression on us. We're genuinely excited about the prospect of making it our new local spot for dining and drinks. With such an unforgettable experience, we can't wait to return and indulge in the culinary delights that Richter has to offer.

The servers are amazing, the food tastes very good! The problem was the $28 charcuterie board! It was supposed to have a variety of cheese AND meats. Ours arrived with meat only, the server promptly brought us 4 tiny pieces of cheese, probably slightly less than an ounce each. Everything tasted good. I just didn’t think it was a great value for that item.

So we always have drinks at Richter Oben and grab dinner. Today, we had the shrimp scampi and guy roll. My shrimp scampi was fantastic fresh, creamy, savory, full of favor with every bite. The cherry tomato's and grits added a twist that was mouth watering. I could not stop myself it was so good. I will be back to order this dish and bring family and friends. My wife had the guy role ... Wow!!! Switching peeps! BigRoll!!! Delicious fresh, and wasabi!!! Fresh salmon !!! Presentation on point! 5 out of 5!!
