Coach's Po-boy's - Bogalusa

Loved the atmosphere of this place....Very clean! The Gumbo and the Brat-Rind-Poboy made me feel like I'm home. Great tasting. The staff was amazing. We also have the first hand to see the new owners go beyond and beyond with serving not only one but two customers to go orders after closing. We will return.

I’m a bit reluctant to leave a positive review for this restaurant because it’s already so busy, and I want to ensure I can always get a table! But honestly, the food is delicious, and the staff are fantastic. They are incredibly friendly and really get to know their customers. They bring our drinks to the table as soon as we arrive. Everything we’ve tried has been amazing. The beef po'boy is the best I’ve ever had, and my picky teenager gets upset when we come here without her—she’s obsessed with the pie and burgers. It’s unfortunate that they’re only open for lunch during the week, but I understand and will definitely keep coming back. I should mention that the place changed hands and wasn’t as good for a while, but they’re getting back on their feet. We tried it again yesterday, and it was fantastic. I can't wait to go back today!

I had a plate of red beans accompanied by mashed potatoes and gravy. It was the best home-cooked meal I've had in a long time. I will definitely be returning!

This is a great spot to bring your family and friends! It's a family-run restaurant known for its delicious po'boys and fixings. The staff truly makes this place stand out, deserving all five stars. The brat beef is exceptional—perfectly seasoned and served in thick deli-style slices. It feels like a comforting home-cooked meal, and it’s definitely worth a visit just for this dish. The shrimp po'boy is also fantastic, featuring flavorful bread and all the right toppings. The shrimp are lightly fried, creating a wonderful mix of textures and flavors. Don’t forget to get the rubber cup—it’s an awesome addition, and everyone should have their own! My wife shared some of her gumbo with me, and she was quite upset when I ended up finishing it all! The restaurant and restrooms are both very clean, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to interact with. What are you waiting for? Come check it out!

We ate at Coachs Poboy for the first time last week and it was fantastic!! We also love the fact that they sale Sugar Love King cake from Slidell!! And the staff was very nice! Definitely going back!
