I have visited Chez Dom multiple times in my visits to Colombia. It is conveniently located in the heart of "La Candelaria" so is close to Bolivar Square, Botero Museum and the National Library. There is a beautiful dining area in a colonial home, a bar and a lovely organic market. The menu changes everyday but there is also a la carte menu. The meals are a lovely mixture of French-Colombian fusion and at an excellent price. The day menu includes appetizer, entree and dessert! It is quite the deal. I had the free-range roasted chicken and my mother had the mushroom and pepper steak. The bread is freshly baked daily and the service is outstanding. Please give Chez Dom a try! you dont be dissapointed.
It is a small restaurant, bistro type. Located at one of the most ancient streets of Bogotá and at 400 meters from the Cathedral. Set on an antique house, with lots of wood details, balconies, pillars, and with an interior courtyard like ancient houses were built. You can enjoy food like sandwiches, salads, and a piece of cake for dessert with good coffee.
Had a very good meal here. They resturant was a bit on the quiet side for us but the food was great. Service was very good and helpful with meal choice.Interesting space but would be better with more customers, perhaps we were a bit late as the old part of Bogotar shuts down early.
Charming old house. Very french cook. Friendly atmosphere. Nice vegetarian menu with plenty of choice. Opened recently. Don't skip this place !!!
