Empty restaurant in a gloomy insecure looking area, but because I am hungry and craving spicy food I am Indian), I thought I would go there. I ordered a cold chicken and asked to be extra sharp. Apparently I didn't have to order Chappati or rice because it was included in my order. What I got was a dark brown bowl with a sad looking stewy sauce instead of the beautiful red colored thick curry I'm used. A Chappati and a lateral bowl with a stabbing amount of rice literally 3 tablespoons, no longer. The Lassi must have 3 tablespoons of salt. All in all terrible no Indian flavors at least advertised by all Punjabi as). I'd never come back here again. Unless I'm looking for an unauthentic mohmash of unrecognizable tasteless things to get down for 35000COP!
We ordered dal makhni and it was really upto the level and it was made by other lentils. so it was normal dal.
This restaurant delays service by upto an hour. There is not a single Indian in sight, only locals who don't know anything about Indian food. They give you a couple of morsels of chicken, lamb or whatever it is yyou order with another morsel or...two of rice and a small piece of chapati. There is only one Colombian serving all these duped people and you must wait like 15 minutes until they get to your table. The starters and desserts are miserable. The lassi is highly diluted, and so on. In the end, they include random amounts of tips in your bill. Trust me this is not a typical Indian restaurant. And wait when you ask for extras, they tell you that the chef has gone home now, Ya saben si quieren donde hay que ir si quiren jugos diluidos, poca comida y quiren gastar mucho tiempo y dinero por eso.
Two family members ate at this restaurant and had a bad experience. I was not present but I have known them for over 25 years and I believe that their views need to be expressed. The problem was that the portion of rice was extremely...small in proportion to the meat and chicken dishes. When they asked for more rice, they were told very abruptly that that is the portion and has always been so. They agreed to pay 3,700 pesos for additional rice but then they were told again very abruptly that there was no more rice because a party of 15 were expected. They left without finishing their meal and will not return. It seems very strange that an Indian restaurant which serves meals based on rice didn’t have enough rice!
Food was bad imitation of Punjabi Indian food. Food was to acidic. Could not make a cup of tea so what kind of Indian restaurant could it be. Complained about quality of food and Chef did not care to come out and find out why....If you are.looking for good Indian food avoid this place. Disgrace to be called Punjabi food.
