Sometime ordered order and said to English-speaking staff I would like to order a dessert after my meal, so I would just order half the size...serve. The meal was delivered in a bowl, very watery and no real sauce. It's okay. Staff occupied and not attentive. Waited 20 minutes and the approached counter and asked for the bill- very poor!
Great restaurant. We don't speak Spanish and the waiter explained the menu. Half pasta and half flesh! The food was delicious and the waiter was great! Very recommended!
It was a pleasure to be in El Boliche at night. The food is delicious, I strongly recommend the Lasagna, the prices are not expensive and the place is really cozy. When I thought I would finish my night with a big smile... my face for the food I had tasted, the dessert arrived and it was just a gastronomic orgasm!!! Verily read the lemon mousse :
I had a great time eating here with my friends. It was quiet and I think we were the only travelers there. The servers were very nice and we all loved our food. The pricing was very fair about 20000 25000 for a complete plate...or 12000 for a half. I highly recommend this place!
Great value restaurant and popular with the locals. We ate here twice during our three day stay in Bogota. Once at lunch and once in the evening. Busy with local trade and occasional tourists. The patron has fluent english and the waitresses will try but...they have menus in english so no problems. A trattoria really. Freshly cooked food to order and very tasty too. Basicly Italian in style but as Colombians cannot imagine a meal without meat they offer the opportunity to add a meat course to your pasta dish. It 's a style that works well and you won 't leave hungry. You can specify your portion size depending on your hunger or budget. This restaurant is very close to the Crown Plaza from which can easily and safely walk. Turn left out of the hotel entrance and cross the avenue either with the pedestrian underpass or just cross anyway. Ignore any offer from the hotel doorman telling you must have a car, you absolutely don 't need one. Having crossed the main avenue take the 'diagonal ' up to your left avoiding the park at night and follow the road which is broad and used for car parking below the Bull Ring (Correo). Turn right up the hill and you may pass a police van which seems to be permanently parked on the corner. You will quickly get to this restaurant which is on your left. I doubt if the total distance is 300m. There are also several more restaurants at the top of this short road on Calle 4a. If you turn left at the crossroads you will quickly come to a Bogota Beer Company Bar and a whole row of places to eat. You can find lots of places by activating the map on the Bogota restaurants page on Tripadvisor. The concierge at the Crowne Plaza will give you a map and point you in the right direction.
