Restaurante Ingenium - Bogotá

Entered this "restaurant" an arternoon to check it out and make a reservation. Door opened, but no one there: had to look everywhere and found the kitchen open, no one there but the leftovers of a former meal all over the place, burnt burger buns, open dairy left out of the fridge together with construction material and tools! Then walked to the upper floor still looking for someone to attend me, and ran into 2 young adults smoking marijuana and playing videogames...who rudely told me they were closed and that no one could help me. Though at this point I wasn't willing to make any reservation here. Unfriendly staff and disgusting kitchen are not my favorite!

I was fortunate enough to go to this place twice....with different sets of people! The food is absolutely delicious. Gourmet standard - it was a unanimous verdict! Modern menu, fresh food, thoughtfully prepared and presented. I was the only vegetarian in the group and the vege burger is to die for! Seriously, if you only eat at one place in Bogota, make it at Restaurante Ingenium!You will not regret it!

This restaurant is a great place to enjoy a good meal in Bogota. The quality of the food is excellent, and I had the opportunity to speak with the staff and their food tells a story which makes this experience the more better. From the burgers to the creative stuffed chicken you cannot go wrong with whatever you choose. If you are in Bogota, and looking for a unique place to eat, I highly recommend trying Ingenium!

The location in this more than 60 years old house makes this restaurant very unique. It's a young crew with innovative ideas. The dishes are created towards different areas of Colombia and therefore using high quality and fresh ingredients typically for this areas. The food is absolutely delicious! Try the burgers! Fantastic prices for value. Highly recommended!

Gourmet food! Try any of the burgers along with one of their fruit drinks! So good! A couple of the burgers have fried calamari in it which really accents the meat! And the different mayo sauces are so savory and delicious. Can't wait to go back!
