Spent a few days up in Rosemere area (very nice pretty place)! and being a sushi lover decided to check a few of the higher rated places out. Caviar Sushi has good parking and is conveniently located. Interior is pretty big and there is a private room area with large square wooden tables that look like a good place for a small party / large family gathering. Staff was attentive and efficient. Food on the other hand was ok but not great. Menu has lots of fancy options for sushi but given the execution on a mid-priced $12 roll (rice a bit mushy, fish bland and accompanying sauce tasteless source of high calories) I'm glad we didn't have the $32 foie gras and wagyu! Also tried the noodles to see their range (lots of places in the area try to appeal to a broader audience by having stir-fry, pad thai, General Tao etc.) Decent but not much better than any cheaper Asian spot. Overheard other tables enjoying themselves so perhaps I am too picky. Certainly would try again if I lived in the area but hardly worth going to.
It is an open space restaurant so the noise level is moderate to high. However, the food was great and service even better. It was an enjoyable evening here, I will return with friends and family.
It was a very nice diner. They serve excellent sushi. The only improvement would be on the quality and focus of the service. I believe they don't have enough staff.
Open space very noisy restaurant, with only one very bad corner table, which they gave us even if we had reserved. It is a "bring your own wine" restaurant which we did not know since the website does not mention anything about it (at the time we reserved.) The food is incredibly greasy so avoid tempuras and the like. They mixed up the appetizers, the server was kind enough to get us a new one right away. My chicken and shrimp noodle had barely any chicken at all. Our server was nice enough to bring me more chicken. We did not have the sushi, but from the menu, I would go somewhere else, as it looked over expensive. Service was great, a bit slow, but the food is definitely not worth the trip or the expense. Go somewhere else, plenty of good restaurants around.
