Little Lillys - Bokeelia

We had a wonderful experience at little Lilly's Island Deli, which was recommended to us by a worker from the NCIC. We stopped here for lunch before catching our ferry to North Captiva Island. Our group of 12 included two vegans, my partner and myself. The staff at the deli were accommodating and provided helpful suggestions for vegan options or adjustments to make non-vegan dishes suitable for us.

This cozy restaurant has 4-6 small tables inside and some outdoor seating as well. It's a great spot for dining in, take-out, or even grabbing some frozen food to enjoy later. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff is very accommodating. While they are known for their traditional cold cut meat deli offerings, they also have vegetarian dishes available. I was able to enjoy their very veggie sandwich without cheese, and they also offer a tasty maize and black bean patty as an alternative to meat burgers. Their sandwich options allow you to customize your meal to your liking, and I found both the very veggie wrap and the Southwest black bean and hummus wrap to be delicious and filling. I also had a friend who used their catering service for a party and tried their Beyond Burger Italian sausage in sauce, which was a hit with everyone. I will definitely be returning to Little Lilly's for more delicious meals in the future.

I personally enjoyed the very veggie wrap and the Southwest black bean and hummus wrap - both were delicious and filling. A friend of mine even used their catering service to create a vegan dish for a party, and I tried their beyond burger Italian sausage in sauce which was also excellent. I will definitely be returning to Little Lilly's in the future.
