You can't order food to eat on-site; it’s only available through an app for takeout or delivery. I wasted a 10-minute drive out of my way just to discover this. I wish Yelp would make this clearer. I ended up leaving since I'm not a fan of Bar Louie's food.
The mac and cheese is delicious, but the portion size is disappointingly small—only about three bites for $15. Given the price, the flavor could be a bit more impressive.
The sandwiches were excessively greasy and quite unappetizing. Just take a look at this underwhelming portion of fries for $5. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this ghost kitchen; it's better to save your money!
Great restaurant! We were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived and were seated in the cozy booth we requested. My husband enjoyed the Louie's Choice Cheeseburger, while I had the pretzel bites, which came with some tasty dipping sauces. I ordered a strawberry lemonade sangria that was quite strong and a bit pricey at $12. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. We appreciated being seated in front of the TVs that were showing the Xfinity Chicago Street Race. The ambiance was lovely, and the place was clean.
If I could give zero stars I would. It is not a real place and when you call to ask where they are located they don't tell you it is in Big Louis Bar. And the food is terrible. Don't waste your money or time
