The Southfields - Bolton

I really enjoy this restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. However, it is quite cold inside, which is not ideal for dining. It's a shame, because otherwise it would be perfect.

I have visited Southfields several times in the past and it has been decent, but during my last visit the steak was terrible. I will not be dining there again, even though I may still go occasionally for a drink.

A few months ago, I visited this restaurant and had a good experience. On this cold October evening, the service and food were just as good, creating a lovely warm atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, the food was decent, and my partner loved the pornstar martini, which I didn't know they served. Other customers also seemed happy, creating a nice vibe. Although we live a bit far away, we are considering coming in more regularly.

Called for a late lunch on way back from Manchester. Husband had hunters chicken sizzler I had a bean burger. Both meals were piping hot and delicious..we both struggled to.finish as they are very generous portions .No idea how they do what they do for...the prices they charge . Husband had a chocolate sundae for dessert and he said it was lovely. Can't fault this place..super friendly staff too .

I decided to meet up with my friend having not seen her for a while decided to go to Southfields never been before and will not be going back anytime soon.We all sat down in a lovely booth and had a look at the menu...which was not bad at all ,we all decided to have the salmon .We went to the bar to order food and it was downhill from there The restaurant had one piece of salmon left so we decided to let my daughter have that piece I ordered scampi and my friend ordered surf and turf and two side dishes of sweet potato fries and mac and cheese .Ten minutes later food arrived a bit too quick for my liking .My daughters salmon looked liked it had been kicked around the kitchen floor even the waiter said it looks like its been in an accident my daughter refused to eat it ,the mac and cheese done in a microwave and looked like it had come out of a packet my friends steak had so much fat on it by the time she cut it off there was barely any steak left and my scampi was ok but only that very disappointing and unless food improves won't be going back anytime soon and I would not recommend it .
