Unfortunately, the rowdy group of young people taking up the tradespatio is a downside, but during lunchtime, it was not a concern. The prices are very affordable, with most dishes priced under 7.00. My fish cake was a bit more at 7.95, but the portion was generous. My friend enjoyed the stacked shrimp marie-rose sandwich (4.25), and the Wainwright's bitter (3.00) she ordered was replaced with another beer that she did not enjoy. Overall, the food was good value for money.
This restaurant has only been open for a few weeks, and we have dined there several times. Graham and Julie are wonderful hosts and are always attentive to every detail. We had a fantastic tapas meal and tried everything on the menu, with nothing to complain about. The Valentine's Day meal was particularly lovely, with a beautiful touch of a red rose, chocolate, and champagne cocktails that were all delicious and reasonably priced. Julie has been adding small extras to the decoration with each visit, and the Sunday roast is also excellent. It's clear that this hard-working couple deserves to succeed, and we will definitely be regular customers.
