The team really implements to keep the river intact and with the fishermen we may cross, as it is not unusual to see swimmers of salmon. We stayed the night in their country and trust me you can't ask for more. Super children and pet friendly. It is nice to see and see a clean place as people are a good spirit. The owners were super welcoming and shed insight into their mission and company history. They explained how everything was created. Alsooo they are environmentally friendly, they use their water for showers and bathrooms. A must for everyone!
Great place. Amazing camping with many types of accommodation. You have an eco-conscious atmosphere. With campsites isolated with and without electricity. We had the opportunity to heat our van in the night. It was cold in September, so good heating is a must. I have to say we went to the end of the season. Your experience was good because it wasn't so full. The kayak down the river is definitely the highlight. We took the popular option and had a great time. They offer wet suits when it is colder. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.
Overall very disapointed with my stay and experience with cime aventures. I had heard good reviews from people, but my experience was very different. Let's first talk about the tipi accusation. they seem to have taken a lot of the picture from their website now, but while we booked, they had made a very nice task to market their tipi, they showed pretty and clean tipi with beautiful glass terrace door and with interior fireplace. The tipi we arrived was very different, the inner fireplace had been taken out, completely removed, leaving only part of the old fireplace. The nights were very cold at the beginning of September, around 5 degrees and very humid, The interior was incredibly humid and cold, at all not comfortable without a fireplace. There were incredible quantities of spider webs found at the entrance of the Tipi and an old ugly wooden door was used instead of the beautiful glass door from the picture. The 2 small beds were covered with a plastic cover to protect them, but the big one was 't, it was in an old bed that someone had cleared and left behind, I was very uncomfortable with the idea of sleeping over someone's old sheet and no mattress protection. The second day was an incredibly rainy day, and we even had some raindrops inside the tipi, right on the bed. I understand that this is 'camping' and not a 5-star hotel, but the Tipi is simply not cleaned, filled with spider nets and residual soot everywhere. The cost of tipi really 't reflect the low quality of accomodation. The toilet and sink are also a little far, and it is impossible to bring the car close to the top, which makes it quite difficult to bring all things in, especially in the dark, at night. We didn't see the shower because we left a day early because our first night was in the top and the water driped on the second day. But the toilet facilities near the restaurant were very dirty and smelling, and there was no hot water on one of the sinks in this area, I don't know about the others. The pool area/Spa looked abandoned as if no one had taken care of it for months. I still enjoyed my kayaking experience, but I don't think we can say the same thing from many others that the trip at the same time as we. The water levels were INCREDIBLY low, they possibly mentioned us 1-10 times during the duration of our 20km trip, but we talked about more than 30 times if no more. There was a whole section where it was impossible to use the kayaking at all and had to be crossed on foot in the river while the kayaking moved. the small water boots at NO COST for all to know, you really did not push the fact that we would have to go into the river, that much to the people and many skip rentals those who are very unpleasant. Luckily they have rented at least the wet suit for free because of the cold temperament
Must keep in mind that this is a big area and a Camping space, even if you're staying at private rooms the service won't be the same of a 5 star resort. That said, i saw the staff work hard everyday on the bathrooms, reception, bar and activities to make sure everyone had the best experience. I had a blast there, the camping was nice, the river is amazing and the bar has a good variety of local beer and food. Only con is that it has a fire interdiction when i was there, so we couldn't make a fire on the camping area, but it's also something they can't control.
Personally I liked the place first because the access they have to the clear water river is amazing and second the hippies style of the complete place. So if you are looking for fantasy luxury spa is not here. If you are here to connect with nature yes !
