In the evening, it offers a beautiful view of the sunset. The service was good, and the servers were attentive. They tried hard to accommodate requests to ensure their customers were happy. They were bilingual enough that if you spoke a few words in French it was helpful for both parties. We shared the Seafood Platter, and it was the best seafood we had on our Gaspésian trip (please note this was one of the LAST dinner stops on the Gaspésie/Gaspé Peninsula before heading home, so had pervious experience to compare to). Cost for our meal (and the breakfast next day) was in line with other restaurants on the peninsula. This restaurant had gluten free bread – the first restaurant to offer this out of the dozen or so restaurants we had been to on the Gaspésie Peninsula.Although Le Cote Mer would appear to be geared towards an adult clientele, and not child friendly (the table cloths and quiet atmosphere suggests fine dining for adults) there is a children’s menu, booster chairs,
Met: linguines with seafood: too expensive! It is indicated in the menu that in these pasta there are lobsters. false. There's no lobster in the recipe. I found a single scallop cut in two and about ten northern shrimps (mini shrimp). a tasteless sauce, I had to add a lot of salt and too can creamy. at $25 the little dish, it's too expensive and pretentious for a restaurant like this. In short, I make better pasta with seafood than this restaurant. In addition, it reigned almost unbearable heat in the dining room. positive: view of the sea and service. I'm not recommending!
The cute net was delicious, cooking exactly as requested. Only small flat, it was a little too salty to my taste. the other dishes on the menu were more of the kind of family cuisine, you should not expect gastronomy, but the quality of food is of very good quality. dessert was, for him, falling on the ground! service was excellent!I recommend!
- Slow service - Serving sizes for 2/3 people - Menu is unpredictable and unfamiliar, waitress was not helpful - You always have to ask for water and it is warm - The steak was not cooked as requested, many nerves and costs $28 - Many staff members - Weak lighting - Not suitable for children - Overpriced and deceiving
I ordered the pork tenderloin, which was delicious and cooked perfectly. My wife opted for the fried fish, which was also very tasty. The family-style meal was of high quality, with a welcoming atmosphere and a beautiful view.
